Eilis McIntyre, MBACP
BACP Accredited Counsellor (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)
Brief Solution-Focused Therapy and Person-Centred Counselling incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Eilís has been counselling for 11 years, during which she has volunteered for Cruse Bereavement Care; worked for the N.I. Independent Counselling Service for Schools; provided community-based counselling in North and West Belfast and worked, both in Belfast and Dublin, as an affiliate counsellor for four major Employee Assistance Programme providers.
As a Counsellor, Eilís offers a safe therapeutic space where you can think about yourself and talk about things that you may be experiencing as upsetting, difficult or confusing. It could be that you are feeling low, anxious, or just not your usual self, without really understanding why. Talking with a counsellor may help you better understand why you are feeling this way and give you the opportunity to make changes to improve things.
Counselling is a personal choice and may not be for everyone, so, if you would like to find out more about counselling and/or to explore if it is the best support service for you, Eilís would be happy to meet with you for a initial consultation session to discuss this.
Bereavement and Loss; Trauma; Work-related issues; Family-related issues; Stress and Anxiety; Depression; Self-esteem issues; Sexuality & Sexual Orientation.
Session fee: £45 (including initial consultation)
